The LS_LL style gasket is engineered to seal effectively at lower seating stresses. With this design, the gasket requires less bolt load to seat while still delivering the same recovery capability as a standard spiral wound gasket.
This gasket is specifically designed for Hydrofluoric (HF) acid applications. It features a Monel and PTFE spiral winding, complemented by a carbon steel centering ring and a PTFE inner ring.
With widely usage, it is applicable to sealing under heavily alternating temperature or pressure such as the static sealing at flanges of pipeline, valves, pumps, heat exchangers, columns, manhole and hand hole. It has a wide application in petrochemical mechanical, electric power, metallurgical, ship-building, pharmaceu-tical, nuclear power and aerospace industries.
